Dear MBFA Members,

On behalf of the board, we would like to share a summary of the decisions made at tonight's annual meeting. A vote was held regarding the future of the MBFA, including discussion about the organization’s viability in today’s environment and the possibility of continuing as a sale‑only organization. Ultimately, the membership voted to disband the MBFA effective immediately following the annual meeting.

As a gesture of appreciation, the members present voted to refund membership fees to all paid members for the period of January 1–December 31, 2025. Please watch for additional information on the refund process.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the meeting and contributed their support, insights, and memories of the MBFA (and OTPA). This marks a bittersweet farewell. We are deeply grateful to all volunteers and past board members whose dedication has sustained the organization for more than six decades. Most importantly, we thank every MBFA member for 60 years of history, community, and shared experiences.

Over the next few months, the board will be working with legal and accounting professionals to complete the dissolution of the organization. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any board member.
